The mailman drove on the yard today and handed me a box from Johnny’s Seeds. Seeds for growing purple and green cauliflower and purple kohlrabi. Plus new sharp flower scissors and a bracket for the wheel hoe.”Sure is muddy today.” commented Mailman Jeff.
“It’s beautiful!” I responded.
“The gravel roads are muddy.”
“It’s beautiful!”
“You like working in the mud?”
“It’s beautiful!” I insisted again.
“Yup, we sure needed it,” Mailman Jeff conceded.
Seven tenths of rain! Yes, it is beautiful. Irrigation tape is a wonderful invention and saves our crops. But rain! A little rain makes everything SO much better!!!
